Whether it is a five course scrumptious dinner in the O'Connell Restaurant, afternoon Tea served in the Kennelly Room or sitting by the fire in the Library Bar dining is a must when it comes to Ballyseede Castle.

The Kennelly Room is an ideal location to relax, read a book and enjoy afternoon tea with views of the formal gardens at the rear of the castle. 

The O' Connell Restaurant is intimate yet elegant and has lovely views of the front lawn and Ballyseede Wood with dinner served each evening.

The Library Bar has a lighter menu served in more casual surroundings ideal for unwinding after touring the area.

As a family owned and operated hotel we love families and children to ejnoy the relaxing environment of Ballyseede Castle. Our Castle Family Rooms are idea offering comfort, security and great value for monet to families wishing to enjoy a Castle getaway. Travel cots and highchairs are available along with a babysitting service. Children are free to play on the lawns or play with the animals.

Mr. Higgins the Irish Woflhound is always playful while his sidekick Einstein is up for fun and loves catching stones. Along with the resident dogs there are two Irish donkeys and two Farabella Horses, this Irish Miniature breed is a great arrtaction and appreciate an odd treat. 

There are plenty of attractions and things to do for children in the area. There is a great children's activity centre in Tralee along with bowling, a cinema and various other activities to occupy children. Visiting the resident dolphin Fungie in Dingle Bay is always worthwhile and Sea World is also a facinating place for young minds. Closer to home there are great opportunities for walks on country roads or explore the many paths and trails in Ballyseede Wood. 

We can arrange golf lessons or try your hand at fishing or horse riding. Whatever it is we can arrange your ideal family holiday at Ballyseede Castle.
