RULES FOR CORKAGE
Permission for the facility of Corkage had to be given by the General Manager.
Below are a number of rules that must be adhered to:
• The wine must be delivered to the castle 2 days prior to the event
• The wine must all be of the type of red or white
• Only standard bottles i.e. .75 litre are acceptable
• Whilst, we will make every effort to open only the wine needed, some of the wine returned maybe opened
• The wine left over must be removed from the castle the day after the wedding
• The corkage charge is not negotiable. The charge is 50% of the price of our house wine at the time of the function
• We do not return corks or bottles. The charge is on consumption basis only.
• We will endeavor to give you the best advice we can on the amount of wine needed. We cannot guarantee that you will not run out of the type of wine.
